Alicante Airport

Alicante airport is situated just outside the city of Alicante, and serves the whole of the Costa Blanca.

Alicante's new state of the art airport terminal was opened in March 2011, and offers every possible facility to make your arrival and departure as pleasant as possible. Your Alicante Private Transfers driver will have checked your flight arrival time , and be waiting for you in the arrivals area once you have collected your luggage, ready to take you safely and quickly to your holiday destination on the Costa Blanca.

There are at present 2 teminals in use, with a further one under construction. Most airlines use Terminal One, but if you are arriving at Alicante Airport with Easyjet or Ryanair, you will normally arrive at Terminal Two. Whichever terminal your flight arrives at , your Alicante Private Transfers driver will have checked and be waiting for you in the arrivals area once you have collected your luggage, ready to take you safely and quickly to your holiday destination on the Costa Blanca.

Airport Facilities

There are numerous cafes and shops at Alicante Airport, as well as money changing facilities, cash machines, and a large duty free shop in the departure lounge. There is a chemist in the arrivals area. Unfortunately there are no left luggage facilities at Alicante airport.

Disabled Travellers

Alicante Airport, has lifts, ramps, and disabled toilets. Wheelchairs and assistance are available on request, and should be arranged in advance with your airline.

Approximate Journey Times from Alicante Airport

All journey times are approximate, and will depend on weather, road conditions ,traffic etc. When you make your reservation with Alicante Private Transfers, you will receive your transfer voucher by return e-mail which gives the return pick up time on you day of departure from your holiday accommodation. This time is calculated so that you arrive at Alicante Airport approximately 2 hours before your scheduled flight departure time, when the check in desks open. Please bear in mind as well that your journey time will also depend on the type of vehicle that you are travelling in. If for example you are travelling in a large coach, they are fitted with speed limiters in line with EU regulations for your safety and comfort.
